Why This Role Matters
As a Phlebotomist, you play a vital role in the patient experience and the accuracy of diagnostic testing. Your ability to collect specimens safely, accurately, and compassionately ensures patients receive timely and reliable results that inform their care.
What You'll Do
Collect blood specimens using venipuncture and capillary techniques for patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric
Verify patient identity and ensure proper labeling of specimens in the presence of the patient
Prepare and process specimens according to established protocols
Maintain accurate records and documentation
Create a safe, professional, and welcoming environment for patients
Perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection as required
Support multiple locations and adapt to changing business needs
What We're Looking For
A current, up-to-date resume
High school diploma or equivalent required
13 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric collections
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a high-volume setting
Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel between locations as needed
Comfortable handling multiple priorities with attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to meet compliance requirements (MMR, Varicella, Tdap, TB testing, COVID, and Flu immunizations required)
