Quality Technician - Medical

Quality Technician (Contract) Location: Brooklyn Park, MN Compensation: $20.00-$26.00 per hour - paid weekly Schedule: 1st shift | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-4:30 PM Job Type: Temp | Full-time (6-9 Month Contract) About the Opportunity Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring a Quality Technician for a manufacturing company in Brooklyn Park, MN. In this role, you'll support quality engineering functions by processing non-conformance reports and helping resolve product and process issues. If you enjoy hands-on inspection work, collaborating with engineering teams, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts, this could be a great fit. What You'll Do as a Quality Technician: Process and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) Partner with engineering teams to investigate product and process issues Perform visual and physical inspections using microscopes and precision tools Document inspection findings and maintain accurate quality records Enter inspection and NCR data into quality systems and databases Support calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment Ensure compliance with quality standards, procedures, and traceability requirements What You Need to Bring to the Quality Technician Role: High school diploma or GED required 1-2 years of quality inspection or quality support experience Experience working with engineering or cross-functional teams Familiarity with NCR processes and quality systems Ability to use inspection tools such as calipers, gauges, and microscopes Strong documentation and organizational skills Ability to work overtime, extended hours, or weekends as needed Experience in medical device or regulated manufacturing environments preferred #metrocareers Why You'll Like Working with Doherty Staffing Solutions Enjoy weekly pay , access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and temp-to-hire opportunities for long-term stability where applicable.
