Laboratory Assistant

The lab assistant is responsible for blood collection, and pre-analytical processing of specimens from patients of all ages as instructed. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Education High school diploma or equivalent Minimum Experience Two years laboratory or medical training preferred Required Registration/License/Certification Basic Life Support certification from either American Red Cross CPR/AED for Health Care Provider or Basic Life Support (American Heart Association-Health Care Provider) successfully obtained within the first 90 days of employment.
