Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist (formerly Medical Technologist) to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate degree in Medical Technology or related field, or Medical Laboratory Technician certificate required.
• Required certification: MLT(AAB), MLT(AMT), MLT(ASCP), or MLT-P (provisional) as applicable. All certifications required upon hire unless otherwise stated. Provisional (MLT-P) candidates must attain full certification within the allowable provisional timeframe per facility policy.
• Minimum 1 year of laboratory experience.
• Microbiology experience required.
• Beaker LIS experience required.
• Demonstrated competency in patient/specimen identification, QA/QC, proficiency testing, and instrument maintenance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in a related field preferred.
• Prior experience working in a hospital laboratory preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 07:0015:00 (7:00 am3:00 pm) and note indicating shift 7:00 am3:30 pm.
• Shift pattern: Days, 5x8.
