Cath Lab Tech - Travel Job

Join our team as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role assisting physicians and Cath Lab personnel in diagnostic and interventional procedures. Operate advanced equipment to capture critical images and data of the heart and vascular system while supporting high-acuity patients in a skilled nursing setting in Brownsville, TX.

Minimum Qualifications

• ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist or equivalent certification required.
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) from CCI preferred. This is a preferred qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience in a hospital or acute care Cath Lab setting preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with interventional coronary and peripheral procedures including stents, balloons, IVUS, and FFR required.
• Experience with mechanical circulatory support devices such as IABP and Impella required.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• State licensure as required by Texas regulations.
• Ability to float to IR, ICU (with competency), and pre/post PACU Cath areas as needed.
• Willingness to respond to callbacks within a 30-minute timeframe.

Preferred Qualifications

• Electrophysiology (EP) experience preferred.
• Experience with pacemaker, AICD, Watchman procedures, and EP ablations preferred.
• Prior experience working with Meditech EMR preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0700-1500.
• On-call requirement: Every other weekend on call; every other night on call during the week.
• Patient ratio typically 1:1 for procedures.
• Scrub color: Navy.
