Location: St. Josephs Hospital Tampa, FL
Facility: BayCare Health System Cytology Services
Status: Full Time, Non-Exempt
Shift: 7:30 AM 4:00 PM (may vary based on operational needs)
Schedule: Flexible; occasional weekends required
Float Requirement: Must be willing to travel and float between BayCare facilities as needed

The Cytotechnologist Float provides high-quality cytology services with a primary home base at St. Josephs Hospital in Tampa , while floating to other BayCare facilities as needed. This role requires schedule flexibility , reliable transportation , and adaptability to multiple laboratory environments while maintaining BayCares standards of excellence and patient-centered care.

• ASCP Certified Technologist in Cytology
• State of Florida Clinical Laboratory License Cytotechnologist
• Bachelors degree in a related field
  • Bachelors requirement may be waived if certified prior to 1985
• Preferred: Minimum of 2 years of cytology experience
• Hospital experience not required training available
• Ability and willingness to travel between facilities and maintain a flexible work schedule
