Neurodiagnostic Technologist

Job Summary : Perform a variety of electroneurodiagnostic tests including routine electroencephalography, video EEG recording and various other tests used for seizure deduction and other neurological abnormalities. These procedures will be performed at CaroMont Regional Medical Center-Gastonia and CaroMont Regional Medical Center-Belmont.

Qualifications : High school diploma or equivalent. Current registration with ABRET or ABRET eligible. No formal post-graduate work experience required. Considerable knowledge of neurodiagnostic terminology, procedures and techniques. Considerable skill in performing neurodiagnostic procedures. Ability to interact tactfully with patients, physicians, and hospital personnel. Experience in video-EEG preferred.
