An opportunity is available for a skilled Cath Lab Tech to support imaging services in a dynamic clinical environment. This contract role is designed for professionals who are proficient in catheterization laboratory procedures and committed to delivering high-quality patient care.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 13-week contract beginning 6/15
- On-call rotation: 1 weekend every 6 weeks and 1 weekday on-call per week
Qualifications:
- Valid ARRT & IEMA licenses required
- CPR certification required
- Proven experience with GE imaging equipment
- Demonstrated proficiency in starting IVs
- Previous experience as a Cath Lab Tech highly preferred
Responsibilities:
- Operate GE imaging equipment to assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
- Prepare patients and the environment for safe and efficient procedures
- Initiate IV lines and ensure proper patient monitoring throughout procedures
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals within the cath lab
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient care
- Respond promptly to call-back requirements, both during scheduled shifts and assigned on-call periods
- Uphold strict adherence to safety and infection control protocols
