Cath Lab Tech in Cicero, IL

Step into a vital role supporting patient care as a Cath Lab Technologist. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work in a collaborative healthcare environment, performing essential imaging procedures in the Catheterization Laboratory.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 13-week assignment
• On-call: one weekend every six weeks and one call-back per week

Key Qualifications:

• Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
• Active IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) license
• Valid CPR certification
• Demonstrated proficiency in starting IVs
• Experience working with GE imaging equipment in a cath lab setting

Responsibilities:

• Perform imaging tasks and responsibilities as a Cath Lab Technologist, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of all assigned studies
• Assist the cardiology team in diagnostic and interventional procedures within the cath lab
• Initiate IV access as needed for procedures
• Monitor and record patient vitals and support pre-, intra-, and post-procedural care
• Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety protocols and quality standards
• Provide on-call coverage as scheduled, responding promptly to emergent needs
