Step into a vital role supporting patient care as a Cath Lab Technologist. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work in a collaborative healthcare environment, performing essential imaging procedures in the Catheterization Laboratory.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 13-week assignment
- On-call: one weekend every six weeks and one call-back per week
Key Qualifications:
- Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
- Active IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) license
- Valid CPR certification
- Demonstrated proficiency in starting IVs
- Experience working with GE imaging equipment in a cath lab setting
Responsibilities:
- Perform imaging tasks and responsibilities as a Cath Lab Technologist, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of all assigned studies
- Assist the cardiology team in diagnostic and interventional procedures within the cath lab
- Initiate IV access as needed for procedures
- Monitor and record patient vitals and support pre-, intra-, and post-procedural care
- Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety protocols and quality standards
- Provide on-call coverage as scheduled, responding promptly to emergent needs
