Surgical Tech Job in Hilo, Hawaii

Ref #: M-ORT-296699 Join a team in Hilo, HI as a contract Surgical Technologist supporting daytime cases. This is a 32-hour position (6:45 a.m. - 11:15 p.m. shift), available ASAP, offering $1,603 per 32-hour week. What you'll be doing: Set up the operating room and prepare surgical instruments and supplies for each case. Work alongside the surgeon by passing instruments, maintaining the sterile field, and anticipating needs. Monitor surgical equipment to ensure everything is functioning correctly throughout procedures. Keep accurate counts of instruments, sponges, and supplies, and help reconcile counts at the end of cases. Document procedural details and communicate clearly with the perioperative team. Who we're looking for: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred. Prior experience in perioperative or surgical settings is a plus. Strong attention to detail, good organizational habits, and the ability to collaborate as part of a team. BLS certification preferred.
