Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist (formerly Medical Technologist) to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states. This role is located in Scranton, PA at a hospital and requires work on a night shift schedule. Applicants must meet the minimum qualifications below to be considered.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelors degree in a related field as required by individual clients.
• Valid ASCP or AMT certification required. MLS or MT preferred (preferred).
• In licensure states, Laboratory Licensure in the appropriate specialty for the department or location assignment as applicable to the state.
• 12+ years laboratory generalist experience required. At least 1 year of experience as a CLS / MLS / Medical Technologist is required.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience performing generalist clinical laboratory testing and working in a hospital laboratory environment.
• Willingness to float between laboratory locations as required by the client.

Preferred Qualifications

• MLS or MT certification preferred.

Assignment Details

• Nights 2300-0700 (11:00 p.m.7:00 a.m.).
• 5x8-hour shifts.
• Every other week (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required.
• Floating required between laboratory locations.
