Travel Allied - Sterile Processing Tech

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel Certified Sterile Processing Tech

Shift: Nights, 10:30p-6:30a, 85, 40hrs per week, M-F
Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 Years of recent, full-time experience as a Sterile Processing Technician in a high-volume hospital setting, with demonstrated proficiency in all phases including decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and case cart preparation candidates with less experience or requiring extensive onboarding will not be considered
• Experience handling complex instrument trays for specialties such as orthopedics, neurosurgery, and cardiology, with the ability to identify and resolve issues autonomously in fast-paced environments; no entry-level or partially trained techs accepted
• Current CRCST certification (or equivalent) required, along with proven track record of independent operation in decontamination areas without supervision; must provide verifiable references from at least two prior travel assignments confirming no training was needed
• BLS

Other Details:

• Extensive hands-on knowledge of AAMI standards, OSHA regulations, and Joint Commission guidelines for sterile processing, including immediate-use steam sterilization (IUSS) protocolsapplicants unfamiliar with these will be disqualified
