Location: West Saint Paul, MN (Floater role supporting multiple nearby locations)
Pay Rate: $28/hr
Employment Type: Contract
Schedule: Day shift, scheduled in 8hour increments between 6:45am 7:00pm (flexible based on staffing needs)

As a floating Phlebotomist, you play a critical role in ensuring patients across multiple locations receive timely, accurate, and professional specimen collection services. Your flexibility, technical expertise, and patientfocused approach directly support highquality diagnostic outcomes and a positive patient experience.

What You'll Do
Perform venipuncture and capillary collections with accuracy and professionalism, including pediatric and geriatric patients
Prepare specimens for laboratory testing according to established procedures
Verify patient demographics and labeling accuracy, obtaining patient confirmation postcollection
Maintain required documentation, records, and confidentiality standards
Support multiple patient service center and inoffice locations with minimal notice
Create a welcoming, safe, and professional environment for patients and staff
Demonstrate leadership behaviors, process excellence, and strong customer focus

What We're Looking For
A current, uptodate resume
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
Prior experience in a patient service center environment preferred
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a highvolume setting
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and oncall as needed
Reliable transportation, valid drivers license, and clean driving record
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to meet compliance requirements including immunizations (TB Testing, MMR, Varicella, Tdap required; COVID19 and Flu strongly recommended)
