Key Responsibilities

• Perform pacemaker and ICD interrogation, programming, and troubleshooting
• Support electrophysiology studies and evaluations within an Electrophysiology (EP) Lab setting
• Assist with electrophysiological monitoring and device-related patient care
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and complete charge entry as needed
• Ensure proper operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrophysiology-related equipment and devices
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams to support patient care and procedural workflows
• Educate staff, patients, and families on electrophysiological monitoring and cardiac device management when appropriate
• Maintain compliance with clinical protocols, safety standards, and operational procedures

Schedule & Assignment Details

• Monday–Friday schedule
• 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM hours
• 28-week assignment providing contract consistency and scheduling predictability
• Clear expectations regarding workflow, responsibilities, onboarding, and assignment structure

Qualifications

Required

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Device Tech experience required
• Minimum 2 years of healthcare experience required
• Experience with pacemaker and ICD interrogation/programming required
• Strong computer literacy skills
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Preferred

• Background in cardiac device technology, electrophysiology (EP), cardiology, or MRI operations
• Completion of an accredited program in cardiac electrophysiology technology or equivalent education/experience
• Experience in cardiology and/or electrophysiology settings
• Proficiency with EMR documentation and charge entry
• Experience educating staff, patients, and families on electrophysiological monitoring
• Experience working in an Electrophysiology (EP) Lab, including electrophysiology studies and evaluations
• Familiarity with MRI environments and equipment operation and maintenance
