Job Description:

Note: This is a vacancy for a part-time Support position (up to 24 hours per week) starting September 8, 2026, and ending December 19, 2026. Hours may vary based on program needs and employee availability.

Note: This position is located at 1001 Fanshawe College Blvd, London, ON N5Y 5R6.

Note : There is a one-day mandatory staff training that takes place prior to the start of the semester.

Why This Role Is Important
Reporting to the Program Manager, t he casual Paramedic Program Technologist will assist faculty and students in the paramedic labs with learning activities within the Paramedic program.

How Youll Make an Impact:

  • Sets-up and tears-down skill station or scenario

  • Facilitates and debriefs medical and trauma simulations

  • Evaluates student scenarios using the Global Rating Scale

  • Ensures all health and safety control standards are met

What Youll Bring:

  • Advanced Emergency Medical Care Assistant (AEMCA) Certification required

  • Certified in good standing with an aligned Ontario Base Hospital as a Paramedic

  • Actively employed as a Paramedic with a minimum of 2 years of full-time equivalent experience working at the applicable certification level

  • Excellent communication and effective interpersonal skills

  • Strong organizational skills, time management skills, and attention to detail

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in an academic setting

  • A strong commitment to student engagement and success

  • Ability to multi-task and work independently

  • Experience with medical equipment, simulation equipment, and laboratory preparation considered an asset

  • Must be available to work 50% of exam day
