Central Processing Technician - Evening Shift

JOB DESCRIPTION
***$1,500 HIRE ON BONUS*** (Receive $500 paid at 1 month with perfect attendance, $500.00 at 6 months, and $500 at 1 year of employment)
Job Summary:
Central Processing Technician will be trained in processing, storing, and distributing medical and surgical supplies and equipment. Position open 2pm-1030pm
Essential Job Duties:

Professional Standards
Follow manufacturers recommendations and instructions for use with regards to cleaning and sterilization (1 & 4).
Follow all guidelines for quality assurance monitoring.
Adhere to evidence-based best practices.
Monitor and maintain the proper environment in the department including temperature, humidity and traffic control.
Adhere to proper attire including PPE.
Acquire and update professional education
Works closely with surgery for changes in instrument sets and procedures and keeps instrument lists current.
Provides direction and collaborates with team members to support a healthy work environment.
Takes responsibility for FTE hours, documentation, and maintaining unit budget.
QUALIFICATIONS
Job Specifications:
Education: High school education
Certification: Certification in sterile processing or Scrub Technician preferred
Experience: Prefer previous hospital or healthcare experience but not required. Basic computer skills.
Requirement: must be in a 30 minute call radius.
