Location: Coconut Point - 23450 Via Coconut Point Estero FL 33928 Department: Laboratory Work Type: Part Time Shift: Shift 2/3:00:00PM to 8:00:00PM Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate: $20.00 - $23.50 / hour Summary The Clinical Laboratory Assistant I is responsible for a variety of clinical and clerical functions to support the day-to-day operations of the Clinical Laboratory depending on the shift and facility location. Clinical duties include specimen verification and processing, phlebotomy, sample tracking including the cancellation and crediting of laboratory tests, and processing of send out testing. Clerical duties include phone reception, printing and distributing reports, operation of office equipment such as fax machines, copy machines, and printers, in addition to basic computer skills in the Laboratory information system. Requirements Educational Requirements Degree/Diploma Obtained Program of Study Required/ Preferred and/or High School Diploma or EquivalentRequiredor GEDRequired Experience Requirements Minimum Years Required Area of Experience Required/ Preferred and/or PhlebotomyRequired State of Florida Licensure Requirements Licenses Required/ Preferred and/or Not Required Certifications/Registration Requirements Certificates/Registrations Phlebotomy Required/ Preferred Preferred and/or Additional Requirements Good communication and interpersonal skills required.
