Surgical Tech

Location: Fargo, ND

Duration: 13Weeks

Description:

General job duties:

Types of procedures required.

Perform surgical and operating room duties as assigned according to established policies and procedures to assist the surgeon and other health care team members in providing effective surgical care.

Neuro primary, but will also assist with other cases within skill set including: orthopedics, ENT, plastics, general, some trauma

Equipment utilized in the unit/dept

Primary procedures completed are orthopedics, plastic surgery and ENT (pediatric and adult). Systems used: Client, Client, Biomet, and Striker total replacements.

Experience in at least one of these systems is required.

Charting System:

EPIC

MUST Haves:

2+ years experience

Strong Neuro

Experience working in a large hospital, level 1 trauma experience

Candidate must have experience working in a busy acute care facility with more than 15 OR Suites (they have 25)

Experience with robotics

Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required.

BLS - AHA.

Must be on the North Dakota Board of Nursing Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (UAP) Registry at least one week prior to start. MUST show proof of initiation of application process within 3 business days of acceptance of offer.
