Desired Qualifications & Experience: Current certification or registry as a Cath Lab Technologist. Proven recent experience working in a hospital Cath Lab setting. Proficiency in operating imaging equipment and performing a range of cardiac catheterization procedures. Understanding of sterile techniques, radiation safety, and cardiovascular physiology. Ability to respond to emergencies with composure and expertise. Excellent communication and organization skills. CPR or BLS certification required; ACLS preferred. Key Responsibilities: Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures. Operate and maintain imaging and monitoring equipment, ensuring quality and safety standards are met. Prepare procedure rooms, patient supplies, and maintain sterile fields. Monitor vital signs and provide patient care during procedures under physician direction. Document all procedures and patient interactions accurately within electronic health records. Maintain adherence to safety protocols and infection control practices. Provide clear procedural explanations to patients to support comfort and understanding. Participate in regular department meetings and continuous education activities.
