Under the general direction of the Director of Surgical Services, assumes accountability for the human resource management and operational management of the Sterile Processing Department. Responsible for the oversight related to cleaning, assembling, wrapping, and sterilization of medical and surgical instrumentation, and case cart assembly following AAMI, AORN, OSHA, Joint Commission, CMS, and CDC standards and/or other regulatory guidelines. She/He/They will have a comprehensive understanding and competent skill level in Sterile Processing principles.

Required Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in related field of study
- 5 years of experience in Surgical Services and/or Sterile Processing
- Upon hire: National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association Or
- Upon hire: National Certified Instrument Specialist - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association Or
- Upon hire: National Certified Healthcare Leader - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association
- 5 years of experience in Sterile Processing and Surgical Services.
- 3 years of leadership/Management experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in related field of study Or equivalent educ/experience
