Experience:
12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
Trauma Level 2 experience is required.

Additional Details:
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience:L&D experience; sterilization; scrub; high-level disinfection (HLD); aseptic technique.
Preferred Skills/Experience:Decontamination; crash cart; scope/probe reprocessing.Teaching Hospital ExperienceCommunity Hospital ExperienceTrauma Level I Experience
Required Credentials:Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
Special Requests:References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.IU Health will not allow IN RNs to work at their facilities. Exceptions include Periop/OR RNs, allied, and ambulatory RN travelers. Periop includes Endo, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, and SDS.
Unit Details:Neonatal, infant, pediatric, and adolescent patient population.Provides surgical services in ENT, GI, GU, orthopedics, neuro, cardiovascular, and general surgery.
Shift & Scheduling:CVOR call required.
Floating Requirements:Primary focus in CVOR, but expected to help in main OR if there are no CV cases or the CV case finishes before shift end.

All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear Yes or No response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1
