Experience:

12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

Trauma Level 1 experience is required within the last 12 months.

GED completion required.

Requirements:

This role may require floating to additional units and locations

Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

24 months gap required between for Staff at Program: RightSourcing Program - Carle Health and no current placement allowed at Program: RightSourcing Program - Carle Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited EEG program (new grads welcome) OR 2 years of EEG/EMU hands-on experience.

Required Credentials:Temp Illinois licensure is not accepted.High School Diploma OR GED

Preferred Credentials: American Board of Registration of EEG/EP Technologists (ABRET).

Unit Details:Performs neurodiagnostic testing including ambulatory, bedside, electrical cerebral silence, and standard lab EEGs.Provides findings, results, and descriptive analysis, and notifies the Neuroscience physician as needed for grossly abnormal EEG tracings.

Shift & Scheduling:Multiple shift options available (730a - 4p, 1230p - 8p, 7a - 730p).Weekend shifts included. No holiday shifts.

Floating Requirements:Travelers assigned to the Greater Peoria Service Area may be required to float between the following sites: Carle Health Methodist Hospital, Carle Health Pekin Hospital, and/or Carle Health Proctor Hospital. The Carle Leader will notify the traveler directly when there is a need to float between locations.

7 days maximum time off. Maximum consecutive days off: 3

2 references required from within the last 2 years

Drivers license required
