Legacy Health is seeking Registered EEG Techs to join our team. Looking for Techs to work a majority of their time in the adult EMU and support expansion of our services. Our EEG Techs work in both inpient and outpient settings with adults and pedirics, including both adult and pediric EMUs. This is a gre opportunity for a fairly self- motived individual.

Legacy Good Samaritan Medical Center in Northwest Portland is known for its specialty programs and clinical excellence. Legacy Good Samaritan feures nionally renowned doctors in cancer care, kidney transplantions, neurology, ophthalmology, weight-loss surgery, robotic surgery, rehabilition and more.

Responsibilities:

Under the general technical supervision, the EEG Technologist II independently performs electroencephalography (EEG), long-term monitoring for Epilepsy (LTME), continuous EEG monitoring (cEEG) and ambulory monitoring. Provides findings and a descriptive analysis according to department procedures.

Works with neonal, pediric, adolescent, adult and geriric pient populions on inpient units and in the outpient laborory. May also perform Evoked Potentials (EP) or intraoperive neuromonitoring (IONM) as approprie based on competence. Requires ability to work all Legacy hospitals, flo between sites during shift and to take night, weekend and holiday call as scheduled.

Qualificions:

Educion: High School gradue and graduion from a Commission on Accredition of Allied Health Educion Programs (CAAHEP) accredited Electroneurodiagnostic (END) Program, or an Associes degree or higher with an emphasis on physical or biological science from an accredited college or university or equivalent training.

Experience: Minimum of two years experience in performing electroencephalography in a clinical setting or through an accredited Electroneurodiagnostic (END) Program required.

Skills: Strong communicion skills and working proficiency with Microsoft Office applicions and electronic systems.

Licensure:

Licensure/Certificion: AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers. R.EEG T. credential by the American Board of Registrion of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists, Inc. (ABRET).
