Experience:

12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

Trauma Level 1 experience is required within the last 12 months.

Certificate completion required.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

This role may require floating to additional units and locations

Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

24 months gap required between for Staff at Program: RightSourcing Program - Carle Health and no current placement allowed at Program: RightSourcing Program - Carle Health.

Additional Details:

Required Credentials:Temp Illinois licensure is not accepted.Associates Degree in Related Field OR Certificate in Radiologic Technology.

Preferred Skills/Experience:Experience with Interventional Neurology is preferred.Previous Radiologic Technology experience in a procedural setting.

Unit Details:Works in the Heart & Vascular Institute with patients requiring invasive cardiology or invasive radiology studies.Administers contrast by existing IV line or by venipuncture/placing an IV line and monitors for hypersensitivity or allergic reactions.Peripheral vascular work; venous central lines; tube changes; embolization work (venous and arterial); venous thrombectomy; dialysis work (AV fistulas, tunneled dialysis catheters, peritoneal dialysis catheters); tube access and changes (G-tube, chole, neph, biliary, abscess, SPC); neuro procedures including cerebral arterial/venous cases and kyphoplasty.

Shift & Scheduling:Weekend and holiday call-only rotation.On-call duties and late shift duties as assigned to meet department needs.

Floating Requirements:Travelers assigned to the Greater Peoria Service Area may be required to float between the following sites: Carle Health Methodist Hospital, Carle Health Pekin Hospital, and/or Carle Health Proctor Hospital. The Carle Leader will notify the traveler directly when there is a need to float between locations.

7 days maximum time off. Maximum consecutive days off: 3

2 references required from within the last 2 years

Drivers license required

Certifications:

VI (Vascular Interventional Radiography)

BLS (Basic Life Support)

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

(R) (Registered Technologist - Radiography)
