Emergency Dept Tech

***Avondale Location -3, 12 hour shifts weekly Nights, 7pm-7:30am** Night and weekend shift differentials offered

This position works under the direction and is supervised by a Clinical Nurse to perform a variety of direct patient care services to assist in the implementation of selected portions of the care plan in accordance with the regulations established by the Arizona Emergency Medical Services laws.

Education

• Completion of a course of study leading to a high school diploma or equivalent. (Required)

• Patient care experience. (Preferred)

• Current Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA), current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), current Arizona EMT/Paramedic certification OR successfully completed clinical nursing skills portion of an accredited nursing program (RN within 2 years of date of hire). (Required)
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association prior to start date. (Required)
