This role is responsible for rapid patient assessment, advanced airway management, critical care interventions, inter-facility transport support, and collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.The CCP delivers high-acuity care in time-sensitive situations while utilizing advanced monitoring equipment, administering medications and IV therapies, and supporting emergency and inpatient healthcare operations.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide advanced life support and critical care during emergency responses and inter-facility patient transportsAssess, triage, and manage critically ill or injured patients in pre-hospital and clinical settingsPerform advanced airway procedures including intubation and ventilation managementAdminister medications, IV therapies, and critical care infusions according to established clinical protocolsOperate and interpret advanced medical equipment including cardiac monitors, ventilators, infusion pumps, and related devicesManage complex medical emergencies including respiratory distress, severe trauma, cardiac arrest, chest injuries, and high-risk maternity casesPerform advanced resuscitation procedures and other pre-hospital emergency interventionsInsert intraosseous access devices for emergency medication and fluid administration, including pediatric applicationsInterpret 12-lead ECGs and conduct hemodynamic monitoring to guide patient treatment plansAssist physicians and medical providers with procedures and treatments within scope of practiceAccurately document patient assessments, vital signs, medical history, medications, treatments, and care providedMaintain medical supply inventory and restock clinical and provider areas as neededCross-train and support operations within clinics, emergency departments, and inpatient unitsProvide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to EMS personnel and support staffParticipate in continuing education, training exercises, skills assessments, and compliance programsMaintain compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirementsCollaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient careQualificationsRequirements & QualificationsCurrent U.S. state Paramedic license with National Registry EMT-P certification or unrestricted Paramedic licensureCertified in Basic Life Support (BLS)Certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)Completion of an advanced trauma certification course such as PHTLS, ITLS, TCCC, or equivalentCurrent Critical Care Paramedic certification (CCP-C) from an accredited program and/or Flight Paramedic certification (FP-C)Graduate of a recognized Paramedic training programAbility to work effectively in high-stress and emergency response environmentsStrong critical thinking and rapid clinical decision-making skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Electronic Medical Records (EMR)Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of timeAbility to bend, stoop, and lift up to 25 poundsMust meet pre-deployment physical requirementsValid U.S. Passport with a minimum of 18 months remaining prior to expirationAbility to maintain a valid passport throughout assignment durationAbility to obtain and maintain required background screening and security requirementsAbility to read, write, and speak English effectivelyMust be willing and able to relocate internationally for the duration of the assignmentU.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident Card requiredPreferred QualificationsPrevious experience supporting military or government healthcare operationsExperience working in remote, austere, or high-acuity emergency medical environmentsPrior experience as a subcontractor or prime contractor supporting healthcare operationsExperience working in emergency departments, trauma systems, or critical care transport environmentsAdditional InformationPrivacy Disclaimer: Policy LinkBy clicking I'm Interested and submitting your application, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the applicable Privacy Policy (available via the link above) and agree that International SOS Government Medical Services, may collect, use, store, transfer, and otherwise process your personal information in accordance with that Privacy Policy for recruitment and hiring purposes.Compensation Disclaimer:
