Paramedic Emergency Department (ER)

Job Description:

Supplemental Health Care is hiring ER Paramedics to support the Emergency Department at a partnering Hospital in Farmington, New Mexico. In this fast-paced role, youll deliver skilled, compassionate care to patients with urgent and high-acuity needs.

Qualifications:

• Active New Mexico Paramedic license
• AHA BLS and ACLS, required: PALS preferred
• 2 + years of recent experience as a Paramedic

Paramedic Contract Details:

• $1,400 - $1,533 per week*
• 13-week contract with possibility to extend
• Paramedic will be working in the ambulance (no driving, but riding along)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide advanced life support (ALS) and emergency medical care within the ER
• Assist with patient triage, assessment, and ongoing monitoring
• Perform emergency interventions such as CPR, wound care, splinting, IV starts, EKGs, and medication administration per protocol
• Support rapid response and code situations
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with ER nurses, physicians, and care teams to ensure seamless patient flow
• Maintain equipment, restock supplies, and uphold safety and infection-control standards
