Experience:

24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is preferred.

AS completion required.

Requirements:

This role will require floating to multiple units

Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: TruStaff Program - Bon Secours Mercy Health and no current placement allowed at Program: TruStaff Program - Bon Secours Mercy Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: 2 Years minimum cardiac experience, at least 1-2 years general.

Preferred Skills/Experience: One year of perioperative, operating room, or related military surgical technology experience; One year of cardio experience.

Required Credentials: Associates Degree, Vocational Certification, or Military Certificate in Surgical Technology.

Unit and facility details: 2 CVORs - hybrid room for TAVRs. Around 3-4 hearts per week. We also support in the Cath lab for TCAR, EVAR,TVAR-along with supporting vascular surgeon with cases in Cath lab. CABG and valves, carotids, fem pops and other vascular bypass. We will make arrangements for a place to sleep if needed for call. Some type of experience as we are very busy in vascular with our new surgeon.

Shift & Scheduling: 8 or 10 HR Shifts; Days/Afternoons. With heart call it will 10-15 calls in a 6 week period - 30 Minute response time.

Floating Requirements: Will float to main OR if no hearts or vascular.

7 days maximum time off

2 references required from within the last 2 years

Proof of identification required for submission

Certifications:

BLS (Basic Life Support)

CST (Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA)) or the alternative certification TS-C (National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT))
