Cardiac Cath Lab Tech - Los Angeles, California

Schedule:

• Day shifts, 6:00 AM 6:00 PM
• 13-week assignment
• Interview and offer process completed the same day

Qualifications:

• Certified as either RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
• Minimum of two years recent experience in a Cath Lab setting
• Comprehensive understanding of imaging and cardiac catheterization procedures
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Strong technical and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and operate imaging equipment to assist physicians during catheterization procedures, including angioplasty and stent placement
• Ensure patient safety and adhere to all infection control protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals for optimal procedure outcomes
• Monitor patient vital signs and provide support before, during, and after procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation and manage imaging records according to facility standards
• Participate in quality assurance processes and ongoing departmental improvement initiatives
