Assist physicians and Cath Lab personnel in conducting diagnostic tests and procedures and operate advanced equipment to capture images and data of the heart and blood vessels.
Minimum Qualifications
- ARRT certification required.
- Fluoroscopy certification required.
- BLS certification required.
- Must have current cath lab experience.
- Experience with conscious and moderate sedation, airway management, and cardiac vasoactive drips (for example Integrilin, dopamine, vasopressors).
- Experience with intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) management.
- Experience in cardiac/coronary, vascular, peripheral, general IR, and neuro intervention procedures.
- Comfortable assisting with conscious sedation where RN provides sedation.
- Experience with Cerner charting system preferred.
- Will not accept RCIS or CCT in lieu of required certifications.
- No first-time travelers; prior cath lab hospital experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience at a STEMI receiving facility.
- Experience working in multi-suite cath lab environments with a variety of case types (coronary, peripheral, vascular, neuro, EP).
- Familiarity with team-based room assignments and working alongside lead techs and multiple RNs/techs per case.
Assignment Details
- Shift notes: Days, every other week (EOW), first to float.
- Rotate call for inpatient and emergent cases approximately 1x per week.
- Weekend call approximately 1 weekend per month. Weekend call may run from Friday evening through Monday morning and is subject to change based on unit needs.
- Orientation hours: 12.
- Traveler will be provided a radiation badge by the agency.
- Five cath suites on site with variable case volume ranging approximately 1022 cases per day total.

You will work in a team-based environment where two techs commonly support each case (one scrub and one hemodynamic monitor), with RN-managed conscious sedation. This role supports emergent and scheduled cases and contributes to timely, specialized care for cardiac and vascular patients.
