Histology Technologist 1, Laboratory - Histology & Cyto, FT, 1P-9:30P

To perform histological preparations that are consistent with the Section's Policies and Procedures in order to deliver quality slides to the pathologist in a timely manner. Estimated pay range for this position is $34.08 - $44.30 / hour depending on experience.

Degrees:

• High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper.

Licenses & Certifications:

• Clinical Laboratory Histology Technologist.
• Clinical Laboratory Supervisor.

Additional Qualifications:

• Complete knowledge of Histology lab procedure including cryostat, gross room, accessioning, embedding and microtomy.
• TN - Clinical Laboratory Technologist or SU - Clinical Laboratory Supervisor license required.
• Either license must have qualification in histology technologist.
• ASCP certification is preferred.
