Reports to supervisor in a timely manner any unsafe activities, conditions, hazards, or safety violations that may cause injury to patients, staff & visitors. Reports any problems, failures or damages to supervisor and/or takes appropriate action. Maintains clean & orderly work area. Productivity/ Time Management: Seeks to achieve the highest quality outcomes by following established standards. Makes effective use of time and completes work accurately. Remains flexible & open to change. Identifies priorities & develops work plan accordingly to achieve maximum productivity. ALS Care: Provides ALS care to patients of all ages in accordance to the standards set forth by the Department of Transportation National Standard Curriculum, the guidelines of the American Heart Association, the American College of Surgeons, the New Jersey State Department of Health - Office of Emergency Medical Services (Chapter 41 of the New Jersey Administrative Code) and EMS Department Policy. BLS Care: Performs all basic life support skills as required under N.J.A.C. 8:40.
