Are you ready to take your expertise as a cardiovascular technologist to new heights. Join our team as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role assisting physicians and other cath lab personnel in diagnostic and interventional procedures. Operate advanced imaging equipment and support patient care during angiograms, PCI, structural heart and peripheral procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
- ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist required.
- Must have prior Cath Lab experience. Clinical experience scrubbing and monitoring cath lab procedures such as angiogram, PCI, complex coronary cases (CTO, left main), PFO, device implant, PE thrombectomy, peripheral interventions.
- STEMI coverage experience required.
- Experience with mechanical circulatory support devices (Impella, IABP) expected.
- Monitoring and recording experience; willingness to train on MacLab expected.
- BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred).
- State specific licensing when required.
- Knowledge of cath lab products and ability to restock procedure rooms.
- EMR experience with Cerner preferred.
- Must be able to maintain sterile technique and perform scrubbing duties.
- Note: ARRT required. RCIS-only credentials will not be accepted for this role.
Preferred Qualifications
- Structural heart experience preferred but not required.
- Prior experience in a hospital cath lab setting of at least 2 years preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift Hours: 0600-1630.
- Schedule: 4/10s (as noted in order comments).
- On-call requirement: approximately 9-10 shifts per month and one weekend per month.
- Must provide STEMI coverage.
- May be asked to scrub and monitor a variety of cases including IR and structural heart procedures.
