Key Responsibilities: Operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment for procedures in the cath lab and interventional radiology suite Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations and interventional radiological procedures, ensuring accurate imaging and patient safety Perform high-quality X-rays in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining steps and ensuring comfort and safety throughout Practice strict adherence to infection control, safety protocols, and quality assurance standards Document patient information, procedure details, and imaging results with accuracy and confidentiality Troubleshoot and promptly report any equipment malfunctions or concerns to appropriate personnel Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and other team members to coordinate patient care Required Qualifications: Demonstrated experience as a Cath Lab Tech, IR Tech, and/or Radiologic Technologist Current ARRT certification and state licensure (or eligibility) in radiologic technology Proficiency in performing complex cardiac and vascular studies, radiographic procedures, and sterile technique Strong communication skills, ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to patient-centered care BLS certification (current) This contract role offers you the chance to gain valuable experience while making a direct impact on patient outcomes in a respected healthcare setting.
