Qualifications and Desired Experience: Certification in Surgical Technology, with a focus on CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) procedures. Prior experience as a CVOR Technician preferred. In-depth knowledge of cardiovascular surgical instruments and sterile techniques. Strong ability to anticipate the needs of surgical teams in high-pressure situations. Detail-oriented with excellent communication and teamwork skills. Current BLS/CPR certification. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain the sterile field for cardiovascular surgeries. Assist surgeons and nursing staff with instrumentation selection, passing, and management. Care for and operate specialized equipment required during CVOR procedures. Accurately count supplies, sponges, and instruments before and after procedures. Support infection control and safety protocols throughout all procedures. Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with team members. Participate in ongoing training to stay current with CVOR best practices.
