Qualifications & Experience: Demonstrated experience as a CVOR Tech or in a similar surgical tech setting Certification as a Surgical Technologist, with specialty experience in cardiovascular operating rooms preferred Strong knowledge of sterile techniques, instrumentation, and cardiovascular surgical procedures Ability to anticipate the needs of surgeons and surgical teams in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills Current BLS certification (additional certifications may be required by the facility) Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain operating rooms for cardiovascular surgeries, ensuring all instruments and supplies are sterile and readily available Assist surgeons and nurses during cardiovascular operations by anticipating needs and providing required instruments and supplies efficiently Ensure strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols at all times Accurately count and document sponges, instruments, and sharps before, during, and after procedures Maintain, clean, and prepare surgical instruments and equipment for each case Support post-operative clean-up and restocking to facilitate workflow for subsequent procedures This role offers the chance to advance your skills in a respected surgical environment, surrounded by fellow professionals who value precision and excellence.
