Your Job:
The Cardiovascular Tech RCIS primary responsibility is to assist with technical aspects of invasive cardiovascular procedures under the direction of the supervisor and physician.

Your Job Requirements:

Associe or Bachelors degree, science emphasis or commensure healthcare experience
Licenses and/or Certificions (Required and Preferred)
Current American Heart Associion (AHA) Advanced Cardio Life Support certificion
RCIS certified within eighteen (18) months of de of hire
ARRT and TX RT(R) required in lieu of RCIS

Your Job Responsibilities:

Assists in teaching and oriention of students and new staff.
Assists physician as a monitor tech during any procedure performed in the ch lab by interpreting basic and advanced dysrhythmia and EKGs and opering physiologic recorder, and interpreting normal and abnormal pressures and wave forms.
Assists physician with most procedures as a scrub tech and operes imaging equipment under direction of physician.
Assists physician with some diagnostic procedures as a circulor by monitoring pient stus during a procedure, handing supplies to the scrub tech, and opering imaging equipment under the direction of the physician.
Assists with transport of pient to and from department.
Cleans and stocks ch lab.
Demonstres knowledge of medicions and dosages used.
Demonstres theoretical knowledge of procedures.
Orders supplies for ch lab and demonstres effective inventory control.
Post procedure safety removes arterial and/or venous sheh, maintains hemostasis, and monitors pient stus.
Prepares lab for procedure by setting up for procedure and maintaining sterile technique.
Prepares pient for procedure by shaving and prepping pient and marking arterial pulses.
Troubleshoots equipment problems.
