EKG Technician - PRN

• Perform all departmental procedures within scope of care in timely manner assuring quality results.
• Enter all charges and other information into the computer system.
• Post reports on the patient's charts. Maintain accurate, up to date patient charts and filing.
• Prepare folders and reports for physicians to over read procedure.
• Fax reports to the physician's office in a timely manner.
• Maintain and stock equipment including cleaning and sterilization procedures.
• Maintain the department/office in a neat and presentable manner.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly reports.
• Respond to all Code Blue and Rapid Response.
• Maintain and order adequate supplies for uninterrupted service.
• Assist with orientation of new employees.
• Participates in unit and hospital wide Patient Quality Improvement Activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• EKG experience preferred.
