McCullough-Hyde Hospital is seeking Medical Lab Technicians and Medical Technologists

Available Full and Part-time positions - 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts open. Applicants must pocess overall knowledge in assigned laboratory sections. Efficiently and accurately performs routinely all three levels (waived, moderate and high complexity) of the diagnostic testing process involved in quality patient care. This includes specimen collection, processing, test performance and reporting test results.

The Medical Laboratory Technician reviews Quality Control results. Performs basic instrument maintenance and troubleshooting; reviews pending logs.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or related field OR Associate Degree as Medical Laboratory Technician

License/Certificate

MT/MLT (ASCP) or equivalent certification required

Position Type/Shift

4 Full-time 72/80 hours per period Day, Evenings and Nights Shift

1 Part-time 40 hours per period Evenings and Nights Shift

2 PRN as needed

Immediate need primarily Evening and Night shift; may have day shift available

Rotating weekends/holidays
