Responsibilities

• Prepare and process tissue samples for microscopic evaluation.
• Perform embedding, sectioning, staining, and mounting of specimens.
• Utilize specialized staining techniques such as immunohistochemistry (IHC) and special stains .
• Operate and maintain histology laboratory equipment .
• Ensure compliance with quality control and laboratory safety protocols .
• Assist pathologists in diagnostic procedures .
• Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and patient records .
• Travel to different healthcare facilities for temporary assignments .

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Histotechnology, Biology, or a related field.
• Certification: ASCP certification as a Histotechnologist (HTL) required.
• Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a histology laboratory.
• Skills: Expertise in tissue processing, special staining techniques, and laboratory compliance .
• Travel Readiness: Willingness to take on travel assignments and relocate as needed.
