Sr. Medical Technologist - Blood Bank Services

TAKE THE NEXT STEP IN YOUR LABORATORY CAREER! We have an exciting opportunity for a full time Senior Technologist in our Blood Bank Services Department!

This full-time position is a day shift working primarily 6:30 am - 3:00 pm Monday - Friday with weekend and holiday on-call rotation.

Responsibilities:

Performs moderate and high-complexity immunohematology testing (blood typing, cross-matching, antibody identification) and blood component quality control testing. Duties also include component processing and preparation of blood products.

Qualifications:

Option 1: Medical Technologist (MT)

Bachelors degree in Medical Technology or in a chemical, physical or biological science and successful completion of a NAACLS-accredited Medical Laboratory Scientist program.

Option 2: Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)

Associate degree in Medical Technology or in a chemical, physical or biological science and successful completion of a NAACLS or ABHES -accredited MLT program.

Successful candidates should have at least 3 years (preferably 5+) of experience in a laboratory setting.
