Responsibilities What You Will Achieve

• Conduct standard and complex clinical laboratory testsincluding chemistry, hematology, immunology, and othersfollowing established protocols with care.
• Assess results meticulously for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform routine maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Assist with specimen collections and prepare samples for accurate testing as necessary.
• Thoroughly document all processes, train new staff or students, and ensure adherence to lab quality standards.
• Promote a clean and safe workspace while complying with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelors degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a comparable allied health degree, coupled with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• Obtain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of hiring.
• Maintain current certification for the entirety of your tenure.
