- Perform medical laboratory testing on patient samples.
- Execute routine and complex technical procedures in the laboratory information system.
- Conduct phlebotomy, specimen collection, and processing of patient samples.
- Calibrate and troubleshoot laboratory machines.
- Document processes and adhere to regulatory standards.
- Communicate test results to parents when necessary.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a laboratory setting.
- Proficiency in Chemistry and Biology.
- Knowledge of medical laboratory procedures.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Comfortable performing phlebotomy, especially on children.
- Associates in Medical Laboratory Technology or Bachelors in Medical Lab Science.
- Regular science degrees require at least 1 year of lab experience.
- Bench laboratory experience is preferred.
- ASCP certification is not required, but this role provides a great start for obtaining one.
The position is based in a laboratory setting, where you will work with various laboratory equipment and technologies.
