Description Your Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and complex clinical laboratory tests in areas such as chemistry, hematology, and immunology in accordance with established methodologies.
• Evaluate test results for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform preventative maintenance and calibration for laboratory equipment.
• Support specimen collection efforts and prepare samples for testing when required.
• Thoroughly document all processes, assist in training new staff or students, and help sustain lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment while adhering to regulatory and accreditation protocols.

Education

• Bachelors degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health qualification with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of employment.
• Maintain active certification throughout your employment.
