Your Role What Youll Be Doing

• Carry out both routine and complex clinical laboratory assayscovering areas like chemistry, hematology, immunology, and many morefollowing established protocols diligently.
• Assess test outputs for precision, rectify issues, and conduct preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Support specimen collection activities and prepare samples for analysis as necessary.
• Ensure thorough documentation of all procedures, contribute to training new personnel or interns, and uphold the highest quality standards within the lab.
• Maintain a hygienic, secure workspace while complying with regulatory and accreditation criteria.

Education

• Bachelors degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a relevant allied health degree complemented by preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Acquire ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within your first year on the job.
• Keep your certification current throughout your tenure.
