Description What Youll Do

• Conduct both routine and advanced laboratory tests across various disciplines such as chemistry, hematology, and immunology, following established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for accuracy, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and carry out preventive maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist in the collection of specimens and prepare samples accurately for testing.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, partake in training new staff or students, and contribute to maintaining high lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe work environment while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education

• Bachelors degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or comparable allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Clinical Laboratory Science certification (CLS) is required within your first year of employment.
