• Conduct a variety of routine and complex laboratory testsincluding chemistry, hematology, and immunologyfollowing strict protocols to ensure excellence.
• Evaluate test results for precision, investigate discrepancies, and maintain equipment through preventive maintenance and calibration.
• Support specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as necessary.
• Meticulously document all procedures, assist in training new personnel or students, and uphold laboratory quality and safety standards.
• Ensure a safe and organized workspace while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• A Bachelors degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) obtained within the first year of employment.
• Maintain continued accreditation throughout your tenure.
