About our EMS Network:
American Professional Educational Services, part of the Hartford HealthCare EMS Network, is a private occupational school providing a myriad of allied health educational courses including EMT, Paramedic, Phlebotomy, and Medical Assistant as well as an American Heart Association Training Center.
Job Summary:
The instructor will teach Paramedic classes in both the didactic and psychomotor domains. Instructors will teach classes in both classroom and field training environments. Instructional experience is required, and instructor candidates must have the ability to demonstrate hands on techniques and skills to students per required standards.
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 Years Clinical experience as an EMT or paramedic or hold an advanced certification such as nurse, respiratory therapist, or other healthcare professional
CT Paramedic, American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider
Preferred Qualifications
Associate degree in EMS, Education, or another related field
- Prior teaching experience, especially for an EMS program
