What Youll Be Doing- Perform routine and complex clinical lab tests in hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, microbiology, immunology, and blood banking
- Collect and process biological specimens with meticulous attention to labeling, documentation, and chain-of-custody protocols
- Calibrate and maintain lab equipment to ensure optimal performance and diagnostic accuracy
- Evaluate quality control results and take corrective actions when needed to maintain lab integrity
- Communicate critical test values to clinical teams and contribute to interdisciplinary treatment planning
- Participate in internal and external proficiency testing and maintain compliance with CLIA, CAP, and other regulatory standards
- Assist with onboarding and training of new lab techs, student interns, or phlebotomy aides
- Be part of the rotating weekend call schedule to ensure 24/7 lab support
- Associates degree or higher in Medical Laboratory Technology , Clinical Laboratory Science , or a related Allied Health discipline
- Completion of an accredited MLT program
- MLT (ASCP), MLT (AMT), or equivalent certification preferred
- Must obtain ASCP or equivalent national certification within one year if not currently certified
- Valid Wisconsin clinical laboratory licensure (if required by state)
- Strong working knowledge of laboratory instrumentation, workflow, and safety protocols
- Proficiency with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) and electronic health records
- Keen attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Comfort navigating fast-paced clinical environments with shifting priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
