DESCRIPTION

Decypher is seeking Medical Laboratory Technician candidates to provide support to the Joint Base Fort Lewis-McChord, Tacoma, WA. IMMEDIATE NEED FOR OVERNIGHT SHIFT

RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform a full range of clinical laboratory tests in any one or a combination of the following sections of the laboratory: hematology, chemistry, cytology, histotechnology, urinalysis, serology, microbiology, phlebotomy or transfusion and blood bank
Heavy Phlebotomy while assisting in the PSS lab during PCS season
Prepare specimens for analysis and ensure that the physiologic state of the properties is maintained
Calibrate, standardize, adjust, and maintain instruments
Verify correct instrument operation using established procedures and quality control checks

Qualifications

Laboratory Technician Certification
ASCP Certification or AMT Certification
6 months of experience rotation through all sections of a medical laboratory
Must be team oriented and willing to assist in other labs as needed
BLS - Basic Life Support
NACI background check
Must be a U.S. citizen

CCOMPENSATION: Base rate+premium: $41.16/hour (in accordance with federal/state regulations)
